A Sweeter Love...

A Sweeter Love by Plum Street Sampler. Lynn stitched this beautiful piece in honor of her family. She has included her wedding date and the initials of her children and grandchildren. Isn't it wonderful! We have it on display at the shop and of course we have the pattern and supplies...

We stacked two frames together to give this piece just the right frame.

Isn't this a gorgeous piece?

A stitcher's jewelry...

We have these gift sets of stitchery accessories in the shop right now.

Aren't they gorgeous!. Our work needs to look good even in progress, right? The sets include 2 stitch markers, a scissor fob and a needle threader that works wonderfully up to a 26 tapestry needle. What a great gift for you or a friend. The colors are very feminine...

What do you think this is?

Something else the girls brought in was this teeny tiny little pot/pitcher that says ladies....hummmm....

Something old...

The Pretty Little Things girls were in today...They had this really cool stitchers tool case with them. What a treasure! It is a beautiful silver case with a satin and velvet interior. Someone really loved this case, because it is in wonderful condition, though you can tell it was used often long, long ago. It would make a wonderful addition to anyones collection of needleworkers tools from days gone by....This is priced at $30 and will go quickly!

I love turquoise...

I think the color turquoise is such a fun color. This pattern is called Be Kind & Be True . I finished this stitchery in a little more than a week. Isn't it cute. I love the saying, and I wanted to play up the color even more with the framing. This makes me smile!

Needle Magnets....

Alice has a huge collection of needle magnets. She keeps one on each work in progress, but her magnets out number her unfinished stitchery - imagine that! She decided to display them on a magnet board set on an easel. That way she could always enjoy each one of them. Great job Alice!

A few new frogs...

My favorite thing to do when I have free time... I am very lucky to find such beautiful glassware. I even found a tiny frog, these are very rare. The pink candy dish on the right is one of my favorites!
This bowl is Vaseline glass. It will glow in the dark with a black light. The color is so intense!
I saw something interesting while I was out. A blue candy dish, just like this one, with out the frog was selling for $48.00! Each color and design has their own price, but I had no idea that this one was that valuable. And guess what, we still have it at the shop. Bet we won't have it for long now........
