Workbasket free pattern....

Carolyn has magic fingers!  She took the Workbasket free designs - pink basket and blue basket - and worked them into this wonderful book.  She put her mind to work and designed it just the way she needed it. 

 It holds tiny little supplies and dainty scissors. 

 Her laying tool even slips through silk ribbon loops down the side for closure.  

 She used her own color combination....Gloriana in Bell Flower and Granny Smith Green, Belle Soie in Creme de Menthe and NPI #4951.  Such a beautiful combination. Stitched on 40 count linen. You can download the pattern for free at http://www.theworkbasket.net/free.

Busy with buttons...

Carolyn's busy fingers worked this weekend and made a beautiful pincushion with her crocheted button trim. She used a french alphabet cross stitch, we found the cross stitch design free on this site: http://digilander.libero.it/assitpuntocroce/schemigratis.htm they have quite a few wonderful freebies. I think you'll love what you find there.

Hares Christmas

Okay, I know that it is not Christmas yet...it's still 90 degrees outside. But one of the new patterns that came in and flew out was this one "Hares Christmas" by Plum Street Samplers.
