We just finished framing this one for our friend Norma. She does incredible work. This is called counted needlepoint. It is stitched from a graph like cross stitch onto unprinted canvas. It uses a lot of different stitches, creating beautiful dimension and intricate patterns. This is embellished with beads and
metallic threads. Beautiful job Norma!

This is beautiful. I would really like to find this graph. Does your friend Norma know where it can be purchased?
Hi Janet, I'm sorry I can't remember the designer of this piece. I will ask Norma the next time she is in and I will leave the info as a comment. Thanks for the inquiry Janet
Janet, I have some info for you.
The pattern is an older design by Susan Portra our of California. Norma got her pattern in 1994-95. Hope that is enough info to help.
The name of the pattern is Odessey. I think she has changed the colors. The original pattern is in tans and purples.
