A wonderful woman...

The needlework industry lost a wonderful woman last week
Zeann Aguilar
Loving Companion
Following a valiant and brave fight to the end, Zeann was surely welcomed into the arms of a loving father in the presence of her Heavenly Father on August 15, 2013, surrounded by her loving husband and 4 children. She was a great example of determination. She showed us all how to find joy in the journey. Born January 27, 1943, to Vear R and Loraine Ellis in Blackfoot, Idaho, she earned her degree from LDS Business College and met and married Robert "Bob" Aguilar in 1962. They enjoyed over 50 years together. Bob and Zeann successfully raised their 4 children together. Zeann devoted her life to studying and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. She also managed the books for Bob's concrete business, and built Zeann's Needlework and Custom Framing business from the ground up, including writing, illustrating and publishing 3 books on Brazilian Embroidery. She built lasting relationships with her customers and also with her co-workers at IHC.
Her greatest passions were her children and grandchildren, followed by her love of the natural beauties of the earth found in all kinds of plants and flowers. These inspired her oil paintings, watercolor, photography, needlework and cooking.
Her father, Vear Ellis, preceded her in death. Zeann is survived by her loving husband, her 4 children, Monique (Bryan) Hunt, Shayne (Denise) Aguilar, Timmerie Jensen, and Katrina (Travis) Hill, 15 grandchildren, her mother Loraine Ellis, and 7 siblings.

Thank you Zeann for being a needlework pioneer. You had time for every customer that entered your store,  always willing to give advice or help with a stitch. Your store was a jewel box filled with every gem that one could ever need. You will be missed and always remembered for your kindness and love of the needlearts.
